For sale is a Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar PC flight control system in almost AS NEW condition. The Cougar is a replica of the flight controls in an actual F16 Falcon. It is heavy, metal, authentic and fully programmable. It’s looks and function is all business. The stock gimbals in the Cougar have been replaced with CNC-machined aluminum aftermarket gimbals by IJ at Frugalsworld.com and the stock potentiometers have been replaced with non-contact hall effect sensors from CubPilot at Frugalsworld.com (see photo). In addition, we have Ian J’s metal speedbrake & metal dogfight switches, as well as Ian J’s new UMT Aluminum Throttle Bushings. Plus, I have two (2)  Mods from Cubby that are still in the package. One is the throttle mod to smooth out the action and the other is the Hall Sensor mod for the Elite Pedals. These are both in the unopened package from cubby and will need to be installed (Instructions included). To top everything off … I even have RedDog's custom made Cougar faceplate included and the serial numbers of the Cougar and NXT mod engraved on the plate!  And… custom Cougar fleece dust covers made exclusively for the Cougar HOTAS!! From an aerobatic standpoint it is a DREAM STICK. Silky smooth spring forces, optimal control and the Hall Sensors are hundreds of times more precise than the stock potentiometers. If precision and smooth resistance is what you're looking for, this stick is IT!  This  system cost me approx. $1,400.00 to buy and modify. The system was never used before modification and then used for about 22 hours at most afterwards. It was packed away due to a move and hasn’t been unpacked until now for photographing. I hooked it up to my Dell XPS 720 and everything functions fine.  I am selling because I don't have enough time these days to make the most of this fantastic system and I have another Cougar FSSB in storage in case I ever get back into it. It will come with the original box and packaging, manuals, software CD etc. along with a brand new set of dust covers from HOTAS Covers. This system is top of the line and absolutely spectacular and sensational to fly with.  There is just a minimal of paint wear on the throttle body on the top, right upper edge.
